Dungeness RNLI lifeboat tows MFV to Dover Harbour
The RNLI lifeboat was called at 08.00 hours on Monday 23 February 2009 to a fishing vessel broken down, 3.5 miles north east of Dungeness. The fishing vessel was on passage from Great Yarmouth to Exmouth. Roger Gillett, the coxswain on duty said "it seemed the head gasket had gone on the engine. We towed the vessel to a safe anchorage in Dover Harbour to enable the engine to be repaired"
