Chris Ubee
Dungeness Lifeboat Operations Manager (LOM)
Chris is the first point of contact when Dungeness Lifeboat is requested and is in charge of the day to day matters relating to the running of the Lifeboat Station.
Chris joined the shore crew in 1990. In 1992 he joined the boat crew and served as an assistant mechanic. In July 2008 he was made one of the deputy launching authorities at the station and LOM in July 2009.
For the past 25 years Chris has lived in Old Romney with his partner Debbie and their four children. He is the Managing Director of his own insurance broker company Applegate Insurance Consultants Ltd and he also owns the local sausage manufacturing company "Lazy Pig Sausage Co" - visit www.lazypigsausage.co.uk. He started this successful sausage company in 2006.
