Mark Richardson
Dungeness Lifeboat Deputy Second Coxswain
Mark is a retained Deputy Second Coxswain at the station and joined the crew in 1987. In 1992 he received a Chairman's letter of thanks, in 2002 he received a Director of Operations letter of thanks and in 2006 he received a long service medal from the RNLI and another Director of Operations letter of thanks.
He was born at Dungeness and still lives at Lydd On Sea with his wife and three children. He owns the local fish shop which has been in his family for 70 years. His lists his hobby as football and is a keen supporter of Gillingham Football Club.
