Dungeness RNLI lifeboat launched to a small angling vessel 'Free Spirit'
In the afternoon of Wednesday 29th November, Dungeness RNLI lifeboat was launched to a small angling vessel 'Free Spirit' from Rye with reported engine failure, south of Dungeness Power Station. 2nd coxswain Stuart Richardson (photo attached) boarded the casualty and managed to get the engine restarted. Coxswain Stuart Adams and crew in RNLI lifeboat safely escorted the 'Free Spirit' to the Dungeness RNLI lifeboat Station.

Local man taken ill on fishing boat and bought ashore by Dungeness RNLI lifeboat 'Pride and Spirit'
A 64 year old local man from Dungeness was taken ill on a fishing boat in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday 13 September).
Dungeness RNLI lifeboat was launched to bring casualty ashore to waiting ambulance.

Injured Person On Board Yacht Northern Gypsy
In the early hours of last Saturday morning the lifeboat was called to transfer a woman with head injuries from the yacht Northern Gypsy.
The lifeboat landed the lady at Dungeness lifeboat station and she was taken by ambulance to hospital. Due to the severety of her condition her husband accompanied her and two experienced lifeboat crew members, Mark Richardson and Roger Gillett sailed their yacht on to Dover Harbour
Earlier in the week the RNLI lifeboat at Dungeness was called to a local fishing vessel with engine failure. The lifeboat towed the casualty back to the Dungeness beach.
