News Release - 30 April 2007
It is with deep sadness that Dungeness RNLI lifeboat station announces the death of their famous Dungeness lifeboat lady launcher Doris Tart aged 85, she died peacefully on Monday 30th April 2007 at 9.20 am in the William Harvey Hospital. Doris had been ill for sometime but throughout still kept her dignity and sense of humour. At the moment there are no more details until her funeral has been arranged.
