Dungeness RNLI lifeboat launches to rescue swimmer using board

On Easter Monday, 25 April, 2011 at approximately 14.30 hours the Dungeness RNLI lifeboat was asked to launch to a male teenager reported drifting in the sea with a board, a quarter of a mile from Dungeness Point.

When the RNLI lifeboat reached the scene the casualty had managed to swim to the shore but collapsed on the beach. Coxswain Stuart Adams put his lifeboat first aid crewmember ashore to give assistance.
