Launched 3 January in stormforce winds at 05.30 hours to a sail training yacht struggling in the heavy seas, 3 miles NE of Dungeness Point.

Dungeness RNLI lifeboat together with Dover and Littlestone RNLI lifeboats were launched to wreckage sighted by fishing boat in the S.W. shipping lane, ten nautical miles from Dungeness.
On Friday March 9, 2007 the three RNLI lifeboats co-ordinated a wide area secter search with the coastguard's plane and tug. After extensive searching nothing was sighted. Dover Coastguard recalled the lifeboats when darkness fell.
