Launched 3 January in stormforce winds at 05.30 hours to a sail training yacht struggling in the heavy seas,  3 miles NE of Dungeness Point.

News Release - 26 April 2007

Early Thursday morning (26 April, 2007) Dungeness RNLI lifeboat was launched to a yacht with steering and rudder problems six miles east of Dungeness point.

The RNLI lifeboat was lauched in light northeasterly winds to the yacht Heartbeat 111 on passage from Portsmouth to Dover and who had developed steering problems six miles from Dungeness. The stricken yacht was towed to a safe anchorage in Dover Harbour.
